Just minutes north of downtown Brainerd is the newest family restaurant and lounge in the area! Randy Bye and family, owners of the Timbermist Convention Facility and R&P Catering, proudly announce the opening of their new restaurant. 

In 2004, the original Chaparral Restaurant and Lounge burned to the ground. Now, nearly two years later, The Chap (pronounced "schap") has arisen from the ashes.

The menu features the finest lunch, and dinner menu in the Brainerd Lakes area with both a Mexican and American menu! This fun family atmosphere provides just the right mix of cheery lighting, decoration, and comfort for friends, family, or business meetings.

The Legends Lounge boasts generous seating and a complete line of beverages including a complete menu for those that wish to dine in the lounge area. New large televisions adorn the walls for your sporting events and pull tabs are available if you're feeling lucky. 

Head north out of Brainerd on County Road 3 toward Merrifield. Look for the friendly sign just minutes beyond the stop lights on the Wise Road intersection and you're there!
